Curriculum

At Lasting Learners Academy we believe that the early years lies down the foundation for all future learning. We follow the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines to help promote school readiness. The use of these guidelines will help to create experiences with emergent literacy, math, and social/emotional skills for each child.

Mother Goose Time Curriculum

The Mother Goose Time Preschool Curriculum targets children 2 - 5 years old. Their research-based approach to learning focuses on the child's experience with teacher support, the ability to explore their environment and family engagement.

The cross-disciplinary model supports a child’s on-going social-emotional, physical, language

and cognitive development.

Handwriting Without Tears

Each child will be provided with their own Handwriting Without Tears Pre-K Activity Book. These will be used daily to develop essential skills while introducing shapes, pre-strokes, letters, numbers, coloring, multi-sensory play and much more.
