I served as Lauren Tijerina's principal for four years. Ms Tijerina is an outstanding teacher with a passion for children and learning. She understands child development, early literacy, and the importance of educating the whole child. She uses a variety of techniques and strategies to make learning meaningful and relevant and to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of students. She has strong communication skills, keeps parents informed, and works with parents to help children reach their potential. I know our students are in great "hands" with Ms. Tijerina!
